History:
Chimpanzees, also referred to as chimps, are one of two species of great apes that live in Africa. They’re endemic to the sub-Saharan region, and are mostly found in the jungles of the Congo. Chimpanzees are often studied due to their close relationship to humans, and they’re arguably the smartest animal on planet.
