History:
Initially developed in the early 19th century, steam trains were one of the most important factors in the development of not only the world at the time, but the identity of the United States. Trains allowed for a quicker transport of trade goods, people, information, and resources that the world at the time had never seen. Since then, we’ve developed and perfected trains as a method of travel and transportation, and despite the invention and rising prevalence of aviation, trains are still a vital part of our civilization today!
