SIEMENS VENTURE CAB CAR - VIA RAIL CANADA™ #2300 WITH DCC/SOUND

The Siemens Venture is the latest generation of medium-distance passenger railcars for North America. Constructed by Siemens Mobility in California, the Venture cars currently see use on Amtrak® state-supported services in the midwest and California, while VIA Rail Canada™ has introduced the series on corridor services in eastern Canada. The Bachmann Venture Cars have been developed in collaboration with Siemens, using original design documentation to ensure prototypical accuracy. This VIA Rail Canada™ Cab Car features dual-mode DCC for sound and lighting that will function on both DCC and DC railroads.

• Functioning LED headlights, ditch lights, marker lights, auxiliary light, and passenger compartment lighting 

• Cab Car sounds including horn, bell, English/French station announcements, and brake effects

• Magnetically operated E-Z Mate® Mark II couplers

• Blackened machined metal wheels with RP25 contours

• Optional NEM close-couplers included 

• Performs best on 18" radius curves or greater
